Building Community with Coffee!

When you start a business, you must be profitable to stay in business. Many companies focus only on making the most profit possible, but our goal is to create something meaningful, not just profitable. For Bella's Beans, this starts with ethically sourcing the highest quality coffee and paying our amazing coffee farmers as much as possible through direct Farm Gate relationships, even if that means our farmers make more and we make less. Farm Gate relationships with farmers pay at least 50% more than Fair Trade coffee relationships and often more than 100%. Coffee farming is not easy work, and being adequately compensated for their efforts is one of our main priorities. These farmers deserve a considerable amount of respect and appreciation for the amount of effort, love, and passion they put into supplying the world with the caffeinated fuel that gets us through each day.

Supplying our customers with ethically sourced, freshly roasted coffee is only half of our company's mission. The other half is to support the people and organizations that make us proud to call Ohio home. We love and cherish our community; without you all, there would be no Bella's Beans.

Since starting our business in April 2020, we've been honored and humbled by being able to gift hundreds of batches of coffee to teachers, doctors, nurses, and other frontline workers. While growing our business and perfecting our roasting abilities, we've stayed focused on creative and effective ways to support our communities. So far, we've developed two amazing give-back programs to provide on-going support and funding to teachers and superstar nonprofits organizations.

Wear It Forward Program:

Our Wear It Forward Program donates 100% of our profit for all shirt sales to fund teacher projects through Donor's Choose. Since introducing this program last summer, we've managed to fund multiple classroom projects, primarily in struggling and low-income communities.

Our new shirt designs will be available again the early of 2025!

Caring Coffee Initiative:

Our Caring Coffee Fundraising Initiative is providing financial support for nonprofits throughout Ohio. Our program works similar to how Amazon Smile and Kroger Community Rewards programs work, but our donation payout percentage is much higher. When placing an order for a coffee subscription or gift bundle, if you use a Caring Coffee promo code, we donate 100% of our profit for the orders first coffee delivery to the nonprofit associated with the promo code you used.
